Who Is Tab Trade - A New CFD Broker in 2026

TabTrade — The Short Version

TabTrade went live in March 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.

His background matters. It suggests the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. Still more reassuring than someone with no brokerage experience.

TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. TabTrade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.

The instrument list: forex, indices, metals, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. 1,000+. For something that is a few months old, that coverage is solid.

Platforms

You get: MT5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from the same login. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both makes a difference. Use whichever you prefer.

MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MetaTrader before, it is familiar territory.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. Many people like it better than MT5 after using both.

Direct FIX connectivity is offered for bots but requires the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView is said to be coming. That should round things out when it lands.

Costs

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your all-in cost can sit under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. This broker requires zero deposit.

VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not for most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.

Execution Speed

This is where TabTrade actually does something different. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers run hundreds of milliseconds.

Does this affect you? If you scalp, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, it matters less. The point is the infrastructure is there. That is something about priorities.

Put together those fill times with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering makes sense. Few brokers in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.

The FSRA Question

Here is the detail that requires honesty. Tab Trade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.

However. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup costs real money. Dodgy operations do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. It does inform your assessment.

What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that makes sense depends on you.

Deposit Bonus

Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Typical welcome offer. You fund your account, the broker add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: turnover conditions before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before funding.
